Add  2 teaspoon of vanilla and whip into the butter.
Add 2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon.

Mix until a crumbly dough is formed.  Divide dough in half to make two 9” pies.
Take one of the half pieces and divide that into thirds.  Now spray your 9” pie tin with a non-stick spray.
Take two thirds of one of the half pieces and press the dough evenly into the prepared pie tin.
Pour the contents of one can of apple pie filling into the prepared crust.  Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon.
Take the remaining third piece and crumble the dough evenly on top of the apple filling.
Repeat this process for the second 9” pie.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.  Cool before cutting.
After the pie is completely cooled, you can drizzle caramel sauce on top for added flavor.

NOTE: ABOVE RECIPE CAN BE MADE WITH OTHER FLAVORS OF PIE FILLING NOTED BELOW.

  1. TO USE CHERRY PIE FILLING, OMIT THE CINNAMON AND USE ALMOND FLAVORING INSTEAD OF VANILLA.  SPRINKLE WITH SLICED ALMONDS BEFORE BAKING.
  2. TO USE BLUEBERRY PIE FILLING, OMIT THE CINNAMON.  SPRINKLE WITH  WHITE CHOCOLATE CHIPS HALF WAY THROUGH THE BAKING TIME.

AUNT CINDY’S CHOCOLATE CHIP BAVARIAN CREAM COOKIE PIE
Made with Aunt Cindy’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix.

Whip 1 and 1/2 sticks of cool butter
Add 2 teaspoon of vanilla and whip into the butter.
Add the dry ingredients from one bag of Aunt Cindy’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix.
Mix until a dough is formed.  Divide dough in half to make two 9” pies.
Spray your 9” pie tins with a non-stick spray.
Take one of the half pieces of the cookie dough and press it evenly into the prepared pie tin.
Bake the crust for 20 minutes.  Don’t let the crust get too crispy.
While the crush is baking, prepare your filling.
Take one 5.1 oz box of vanilla instant pudding mix.   Prepare pudding according to PIE directions on the box.
By using less milk.  After the pudding is mixed, fold in 1 cup of COOL WHIP into the pudding making a Vanilla Bavarian Cream.
Refrigerate your Bavarian cream until the pie crust has baked and is completely cooled.

NOTE: the chocolate chip crust will settle during baking.
Spoon the Bavarian Cream into the cooled Chocolate Chip Crust.
Sprinkle Chocolate Chips around the edge of the pie and spoon a bit of cool whip in the middle.
Now drizzle chocolate syrup across the pie for decoration and added flavor.
Refrigerate before serving.

NOTE:  FOR BANANA BAVARIAN, SLICE FRESH BANANAS AND PLACE ON TOP OF THE BAKED COOKIE CRUST BEFORE YOU ADD THE BAVARIAN CREAM.  TOP THE BAVARIAN CREAM WITH A FEW FRESH BANANA SLICES AND DRIZZLE WITH CHOCOLATE SYRUP.
YOU CAN ALSO USE CHOCOLATE PUDDING INSTEAD OF VANILLA IF DESIRED.
ANOTHER VARIATION WOULD BE TO USE THE OATMEAL RAISIN COOKIE MIX IN PLACE OF CHOCOLATE CHIP AND USE A BUTTER SCOTCH PUDDING FILLING WITH CARAMEL DRIZZLE ON TOP.
HAPPY BAKING!
